Febachike Agencies Limited provides a speedy and cost-effective customs clearing services for sea Freights and Air Freights. Over the years of its operation, Febachike has created a robust friendly relationship with the Nigerian Customs service and other government units like the SON, NAFDAC, and Quarantine to enable a swift transition of shipments and negotiation which are favourably for clients where necessary.
We provide a turnkey service for your international air transport needs. We work with the world’s leading commercial freight airlines to ensure that your long-distance freight is delivered on-time on a consistent basis. We provide a comprehensive customs service that ensures that your air freight is accompanied by all necessary documentation for the countries of origin and destination.
We offer full support for your entire road freight needs. We support local, interstate, and international road freight transport, including solo and combined transports, oversize cargo, and partial loads. We operate through an established network of road freight carriers who have been through our extensive screening process.
Febachike Agencies has operations at several international sea ports around the world, and work with an established network of sea freight transport providers to ensure that your freight is transported via the most time and cost-effective means. We support full and partial container loads, and handle all customs documents for countries of origin and destination.

Our Pricing
Our pricing and rates are service specific and are computed based on work scope, requirements, and peculiar nature of the shipments; standard rates are currently only available for raw materials utilised by our manufacturing clientele.
Sea Freight
- Our delivery lead time is 7 – 10 working days subject to controllable conditions; however, any probable delay would be communicated on time to enable immediate
decision making.
- All duty rates are obtained based on the classification of the products, goods, and/or equipment, Duty rates, Surcharges, Import VAT, CISS are applied subject to HS code classification. All fees are payable directly to the Federal Government of Nigeria’s TSA account domiciled at any designated bank.
- Shipping and Terminal Company Local Handling Charges are applicable and invoiced at cost. Estimates can be provided prior to shipment but are subject to prevailing rates, 14 days standard storage, delivery and handling, Customs examination/scan. However, any estimate provided does not include charges that may be levied due to demurrage, port congestion and stoppages and/or any other charges levied. Estimate is also subject to Refundable Container Deposit.
- Our Clearing charges including preparation of Bill of Entry, Direct Traders Input processing, obtaining duty payment assessment, processing Bill of Lading with Nigeria Customs Service, delivery expenses, obtaining NPA / Shipping/Terminal minimum,
import clearance procedure with other government agencies and all other general sundry expenses.
- All requisite permits and licenses including but not limited to NPQS, NAFDAC, SON, NESREA, FEPA fees, and all other regulatory agencies are to be provided prior to shipment arrival.
- Haulage services are obtained through reputable transport operators; invoiced at cost based on traffic congestion, port access, and service availability. Container delivery to a location within or outside Lagos city limits may be subject to demurrage charges upon
expiration of 12hrs standard offloading schedule or overnight stay at the offloading site.
Air Freight Delivery Conditions
- Our delivery lead time is 3 – 5 working days subject to controllable conditions; however, any probable delay would be communicated on time to enable immediate decision making.
- For air freight deliveries we offer an all-inclusive rate based standardized across our service industry. However, it is also dependent on the available documentation; we advise all shipment documentation must be forwarded prior to the shipment arrival in
Nigeria.
- As all shipments are subject to full duty applicable or imposed by Nigeria Customs, note that our delivery rate is also based on the following exclusions: NCS Duty payment, taxes & surcharges including PAAR charges, Additional Duty payable.
Payment Terms
- Our Invoice is payable on presentation and becomes due for settlement as in the contract terms after delivery of shipment.
- Duties, taxes and other surcharges, including import VAT are payable directly to the Federal Government of Nigeria’s account at the designated banks. By request, Febachike is able to include such payment as a line item on our invoice.
- All third-party charges will be communicated in writing and are subject to your approval.
- All rates quoted are exclusive of VAT; however final Invoice would be subject to 7.5% VAT charge on the agency fee.
